ABOUT US

I am Dennis DeLaHunt, the owner and Principal Broker of Select Properties Washington Inc. which was incorportated in 1990 and Select Properties Oregon Inc. which was incorported in 2004.

I hold a Real Estate Brokers license in both Washington and Oregon. I have 30 years of Commercial Real Estate experience with extensive real estate education. Although I am skilled in all types of Real Estate transactions, I specialize in Commercial Sales, Leasing and Development.

In addition to my extensive Real Estate education, I hold a degree from the University of Oregon. In past years, I have had extensive medical training gained during my service in the U.S. Public Health Service, Washington State Division of Health and as the former Executive Director of the S.W. Washington Health System Agency.

I spend part of every week in both of my Olympia, Washington, and Astoria, Oregon offices working with Real Estate and Development clients and partners. In addition to representing buyers, sellers, lessors or lessees in commercial sales and leasing, I am a broker for, and partner in, the North Coast Retail Center, a 75 acre Costco anchored retail development near Washington, Oregon. I am also a principal partner in Riverview Partners LLC., which is developing two "river view" city blocks in Astoria, Oregon, on the former site of the historic Central School.

I have personally and successfully developed commercial property, residential property and recreational property in both Washington and Oregon.

This development experience provides me with insight and expertise that many commercial and residential brokers lack. With this experience, I can better assist property owners, who wish to develop their property through the maze of government regulations and economic pitfalls that are part of the development process.
